Here are some of the types of WebConceptualizations (formerly called BoundedDescriptions, but the best title may be RepresentationOfMeaning) I have come across:
RdfNeighbors (RDFN)
One of the ideas behind these is to create ResourceBounded descriptions of the WordSense of a term.
So what are these things? How would you characterize them? How would you classify them?
Here are some of the properties that could apply to these things:
MachineReadable - is a description processible by machine?
IsDenotative - does the description dicriminate the resource from all others either globally or contextually
IsGloballyDenotative - the description denotes the resource globally, i.e., in all contexts. This is its LiteralMeaning, meaning that is not ContextDependent
IsContextuallyDenotative - the description denotes the resource within a particular context, say within the server under query
